Sreeleela resumes shooting for Kartik Aaryan starrer romantic musical directed by Anurag Basu in Mumbai
Actress Sreeleela is expected to make her much-awaited Bollywood debut in the Kartik Aaryan starrer upcoming romantic musical with filmmaker Anurag Basu. The film which has faced some delays is moving ahead again. Now, if the latest reports are to be believed, Sreeleela has reportedly returned to the sets in Mumbai and started shooting her portions.
Sreeleela returns to sets
According to a report by Pinkvilla, Sreeleela has resumed shooting and the current schedule is going as planned in Mumbai. It is also stated that the film is being made on a large scale and is set to be an intense romantic musical.
Kartik’s portions nearly finished
Kartik Aaryan, meanwhile, has already completed most of his work for the film. A previous report said the actor was “more or less” fully finished with his portions.The film had faced several delays earlier because of scheduling issues.
Film linked to ‘Aashiqui‘ franchise
The upcoming film was initially rumoured to be ‘Aashiqui 3’. It is now reportedly titled ‘Tu Meri Zindagi Hai’. The film is said to be an original love story and will not connect to the ‘Aashiqui’ franchise. It is being made as a romantic musical, with music playing an important role in the story.Pritam is composing the music for the film. Before the delays, the movie was reportedly planned for a 2026 release.
Sreeleela and Kartik Aaryan’s work front
The film will introduce Sreeleela to Hindi cinema, she has already built a strong career in South Indian films featuring in projects including ‘Dhamaka’, ‘Bhagavanth Kesari’, ‘Guntur Kaaram’ and also appearing in a special song for ‘Pushpa 2’.She was recently seen alongside Pawan Kalyan in ‘Ustaad Bhagat Singh’. She also has ‘Om Chapter 1: Udhiram – The Blood Wood’ in her upcoming projects.On the other hand, Kartik was last seen in ‘Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri’ opposite Ananya Pandey directed by Sameer Vidwans. He also has ‘Naagzilla’ and ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 4’ in his upcoming lineup.
