Ashok Selvan explains why he waited for the right film

Speaking at the title teaser launch, Ashok Selvan opened up about the gap between his recent films and said he never wanted to sign a project simply to remain visible. “It’s been 2.5 years since Blue Star was released. People, including my parents, kept asking me when I am signing my next film. The thing is, I did not forcibly push myself to do a film,” he said as reported by News 18. The actor explained that he was not worried about appearing in theatres every Friday. “I don’t believe that I have to mark my attendance every Friday. A good film, a good story takes time. That was how Anbil Avan happened,” Ashok Selvan added.

The cast includes Sabumon Abdusamad, Kadirbalu and Maha Delhi Ganesh, with cinematography by Gowtham Rajendran. The film has raised curiosity with its emotional title teaser.
