Vishnu Vishal opens up about Arunraja Kamaraj collaboration

Addressing speculation surrounding the project, Vishnu Vishal said he wanted to give fans a clear update instead of allowing rumours to continue. “There have been several speculations over the past few days regarding the next film I was supposed to do with Arunraja Kamaraj. I felt it was only right to clarify the current situation and let you, the fans, know, because you have the right to know,” he said. The actor added that the film was a project he had been looking forward to for nearly a year.

Creative differences and budget issues put film on hold

Vishnu Vishal revealed that he had spent around ten months preparing for the project and had hoped to begin work after completing ‘Gatta Kusthi 2.’ “I was very excited to bring this film to the screen, but we have decided not to take this project forward,” he said. According to the actor, differences over creative matters and budget constraints created hurdles in taking the project forward. He explained that budget control has become one of the major challenges facing the film industry today. Despite efforts to resolve the issues, the team eventually decided that continuing with the project would not be possible. Vishnu Vishal also wished Arunraja Kamaraj well in his future ventures and said the legal formalities related to the decision would take some time to complete.

Vishnu Vishal’s upcoming films and new project

While the Arunraja Kamaraj film will not happen for now, Vishnu Vishal has several other commitments lined up. The actor is currently focusing on the release of his upcoming film ‘Irandu Vaanam’ and his brother’s ‘Yellow Yellow Dirty Fellow.’ He also revealed that he is currently working on another interesting and different project, which he will announce soon. Now, the actor-producer appears to have moved on from the shelved collaboration and is focusing on his upcoming films and new cinematic plans.
